A televised documentary on transhumance led me to understand the intimacy between the shepherd and the flock he is in charge of. The parable of the "Good Shepherd" of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 10 has become a reality to me. In this documentary, it was about a young shepherdess woman who was driving a hundred goats towards the place of the transhumance. I was impressed by her youth, the choice of her profession, her enthusiasm to do this job, her life with her flock, which is conditioned by the mutual love that unites them, pain and sacrifice. What is transhumance? Transhumance is the periodic migration of the herd to green pastures. It is practiced worldwide and aims not only to fatten the herd, but also to increase in number.
