  Greetings my sisters - Happy Easter! The message of Easter is the Word of God coming true in our lives! Jesus' death and resurrection as the way to our salvation, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ. In Matthew 28, we see after the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, the Bible tells us of these women of faith and courage who went off to the tomb of Jesus and there was a violent earthquake, an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven, rolled back the stone from the door of the tomb and sat on it and spoke to the women. The Bible records how the guards of the tomb were so afraid of the angel that they shook and became like dead men because of the power of God. The angel’s appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. This passage shows the power of resurrection; the power of Jesus Christ in our lives.             My dear Baptist Women Union of Africa, 2024 was a year of God’s grace and it was a beautiful year though with many challenges we thank God for all of you. Your support for the ministry of women was great and you did your best to fulfil His call, your response to your leaders was great may the Lord almighty bless you all. During 2024 one of the highlights was attending your Regional Conferences, Now we are in 2025 by God’s grace we shall Evangelize Africa for Jesus . It’s my prayer as your leader that you are all set to GO ….The day of prayer ( 6th of February) is just at the corner….. be set my dear sisters, we are Women of Purpose in Christ Jesus. By faith we shall also meet in Brisbane in July 7-12 / 2025 BWA Summit love you all
