  EASTER MESSAGE Hey my sisters! Easter is here with us again! JESUS is ALIVE!! HE’S RISEN in our LIVES!!! Let us celebrate His LIFE in us. Jesus Has Risen (Luke 24: 1 - 12) On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,   but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.   In their fright, the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?   He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:   ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ Then they remembered his words.   English Edition  EASTER MESSAGE (LUKE 23 – 24)   ACT OF GREAT WORSHIP (Matthew 26)           After facing much opposition to His teachings, JESUS is betrayed by Judas, denied by His disciples, crucified, and dies. Three days later, He rose from the dead and appears to the disciples, confirming that He is indeed KING over LIFE and DEATH. The Long awaited KING brought in HIS KINGDOM. It was different than expected for he reigns in our hearts until the day He comes again to establish a new and perfect world.           As we reflect on what happened during Easter time, we see Jesus in Matthew 26: 6 - 13 being anointed in the home of Simon the leaper. A woman comes to Jesus with a Jar of Alabaster of very expensive perfume which she poured on His head. This Woman was Mary, the sister to Martha and Lazarus, who lived in Bethany (John 12: 1-3). Resolutions accepted at the BWUA meetings in Liberia August 2022

  Resolution 1: ELECTION AND APPOINTMENT OF BWUA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Context: Article VIII of the statutes of the Union of African Baptist Women (BWUA) states the following: • Members are elected every five (05) years at the BWUA Continental Conference by a Nominating Committee. • The Ex-officio members are elected by the Baptist World Alliance – Women's Department (BWA-WD). In addition, the Executive Committee of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) recommends that the cycles of the BWUA mandates be aligned with those of the AABF, which is not currently the case; Accordingly, the Conference of the Union of African Baptist Women held from 14 to 17 August 2022 in Monrovia, Liberia accepts the following resolution: Resolution:   In order to realign the mandates of the BWUA Executive Committee with those of the AABF Executive Committee, Article VIII of the BWUA Statutes remains unchanged but the Executive Committee elected at the conference held from 14 to 17 August 2022 will have
