A televised documentary on transhumance led me to understand the intimacy between the shepherd and the flock he is in charge of. The parable of the "Good Shepherd" of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 10 has become a reality to me. In this documentary, it was about a young shepherdess woman who was driving a hundred goats towards the place of the transhumance. I was impressed by her youth, the choice of her profession, her enthusiasm to do this job, her life with her flock, which is conditioned by the mutual love that unites them, pain and sacrifice. What is transhumance? Transhumance is the periodic migration of the herd to green pastures. It is practiced worldwide and aims not only to fatten the herd, but also to increase in number.   CHRISTMAS MESSAGE My Beloved, As we are preparing for the holidays and the gifts to be offered, I join with you in thanking the Lord for the greatest Gift he gave us when he sent his Son from heaven (John 3:16-17). The Advent period anticipates the « coming of Christ » from different perspectives : His birth at Bethlehem in Judea, his reception in our hearts and the teaching related to his second coming. Why did Jesus come ? « The Lord has anounced through the prophecy that the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel which means God with us » (Isaiah 7:14 ; 9:5). Jesus Christ, the savior of humanity came to proclaim the good news of peace and love for the salvation of all. In Mark 1:15, Jesus Christ said : « The time has come, the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news ».   CHRISTMAS MESSAGE My Beloved Sisters,   Merry Christmas and prayers for a better, healthier and more prosperous New Year to each of you my beautiful Baptist Sisters.  I greet you in the matchless name of Christ, the Saviour born to save us all. As we commemorate the birth of Jesus, it is my prayer that God will renew our spirits and hearts to serve Him and humanity.    I know this 2020 has been a difficult year filled with uncertainties. Many of us have lost loved ones, our businesses and means of livelihood have been threatened or have disappeared,  our personal health has been compromised and we have sometimes felt like all hope is lost. I stopped by to encourage you and to remind you that your anchor is set on Master Jesus. He is the giver of life and the restorer of life. PRESIDENT’S EASTER MESSAGE . Dear sisters, Welcome to the Holy Week, the week of the Christ’s passion. It includes sufferings of Jesus before his death on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice to pay the penality for our sin : Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:39-46) ; Betrayal by Judas Iscariot (Luke 22:48) ; Abandonment and denial by his disciples (Mark 14 :50 ; Luke 22:54-62) ; Arrest (Matthew 26:50 ; Trials, beatings and sufferings (Luke 22:63-71 ; Luke 23 :1-23). Jesus was crucified with two criminals, one on each side of him ( Luke 23:32-33 ). After his death, Jesus’ body was wrapped in linen clothes and placed in a tomb with a large stone rolled across the opening.  On the third day, an early Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene and another Mary came to the tomb and found it empty.
