  Greetings my sisters - Happy Easter! The message of Easter is the Word of God coming true in our lives! Jesus' death and resurrection as the way to our salvation, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ. In Matthew 28, we see after the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, the Bible tells us of these women of faith and courage who went off to the tomb of Jesus and there was a violent earthquake, an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven, rolled back the stone from the door of the tomb and sat on it and spoke to the women. The Bible records how the guards of the tomb were so afraid of the angel that they shook and became like dead men because of the power of God. The angel’s appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. This passage shows the power of resurrection; the power of Jesus Christ in our lives.
